Troubleshooting
The most common connection problems, and what fixes them.
- The agent shows the connector as disconnected
- Most often the key was revoked or the account was locked. Check Connection for the key status, and Usage for the account state. If the account is locked, reinstatement goes through support.
- Calls return 401 unauthorized
- The key is invalid, revoked, or past its rotation grace window. Keys must be sent as Authorization: Bearer crn_… — any other scheme is rejected. Create a fresh key on the Connection page and update the client.
- Claude.ai keeps asking to sign in
- A stale connector registration. Remove the Cornilius connector in Claude.ai and add it again.
- Calls return 429
- The plan's call cap for the period is reached. Reads are still allowed; the cap resets at the start of the next period. Plan details are on Billing & Plan.
- The approval screen shows Loading… and nothing happens
- The approval page requires a signed-in Cornilius session — sign in when prompted and the screen loads. A brief Loading… on first open is normal.
None of this matches
Write to support@cornilius.ai, or use the Help form in the dashboard. Include the approximate time of the failed call — it makes the lookup fast.
